BARNARD, Mo. - Charges have been filed against two Nodaway County residents. The Nodaway County Sheriff's Office says 42-year-old Bradley Degas and 31-year-old Angela Degase, both of Barnard, have been charged with possession of a controlled substance.

The charges come after deputies served a search warrant at a Barnard residence back on July 16. During the search, deputies found a crystal-like substance, which field tested positive for meth.

The search warrant was in connection with the theft of a wallet, debit card, and checks in Holt County. Evidence related to the theft was recovered as well. The investigation is ongoing.
